Deluxe Wheel System for Laguna Revo 18|36 Lathe

Enjoy easy mobility with your Laguna Revo 18|36 Lathe—gas struts smoothly raise and lower your lathe!

This mobility kit fits the Laguna Revo 18|36 Lathe (e.g. #56550, sold separately). It consists of four swiveling casters and dual gas struts, which raise and lower the lathe onto or off of the casters. Because the lathe rests on all four pads when in use, you'll enjoy maximum stability. When it's time to move the lathe, dual gas struts make raising and lowering smooth and easy. When moving, all four swiveling casters are engaged for maximum maneuverability around your shop.

Deluxe Wheel System for Laguna Revo Lathe
Tool mobility is essential in my small shop. Most tool mobile bases are okay, but the Laguna system is exceptional even on a floor covered with rubber mates. I do have an issue with Laguna Customer Support however. The base I received was missing a cap nut. Probably not an essential item, but I contacted Laguna and requested a replacement. They responded that the item was not stocked by them, but the item should be available at local hardware stores. I admit a $0.50 item is not a big deal but after purchasing the lathe, lights and mobility system I expected a more professional customer service response.

It's pricey, but I have a small shop and this will give me the flexibility to move the lathe around easily.

Is 18" the maximum size Log In Diameter?
Amit R on Oct 7, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No. The largest spindle is probably a bit less than 16” because of the height of the banjo. Bowls can be larger I think if you buy one of the supplemental bed extensions.
Does it require a 3 phase Electrical panel?
Amit R on Oct 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes it does.
