Tightening Rockler's new Auto-Lock T-Track Clamp is literally an open-and-shut case—just slide the clamp face up to your work and close the lever! Once set, the clamping pressure is always the same regardless of workpiece size, and is adjusted only if needed with the set screw. Since the clamps apply pressure from the side, the top of your workpiece is unobstructed for easy machining and sanding. The bottom-mounted pins slide inside the miter track for stability, and can be shifted for 45° angle clamping—ideal for miters and irregularly shaped objects. When used with our T-Track Table, the clamp arm can be adjusted in and out a full 3-1/2'', allowing you to easily clamp items that lie in between the T-tracks.

  • Fast, repeatable action saves enormous amounts of time for repetitive clamping tasks
  • Clamps slide into any T-track that accepts 5/16'' T-bolts, including our T-Track Table (#46654, sold separately) and many of the CNC Shark tables
  • Knurled wheel secures the clamp to your T-track
  • Bottom-mounted alignment pins can be repositioned at 45° for angled clamping
  • Adjustment screw is easily accessible through a hole in the handle, and adjusts clamping pressure from 10 to 500 lbs
  • Non-slip pad on base of clamp prevents unwanted shifting
  • Clamp face also features a pad that prevents marring your workpiece
  • Angled notch in clamp face cradles outside corners and irregularly shaped objects
  • Rugged steel and aluminum construction
  • Nicely complements our T-Track Stops (e.g. 46010, sold separately)
  • Fits all Rockler branded T-Tracks

Woodworking Experience:
Perfect for quick clamp on my xcarve
I use these for a quick clamp on my cnc. They are quick and the adjustable pressure knob is awesome because not everything needs tons of clamping pressure. The 45deg option is nice but doesn't always work for my setup. I plan to make a block for the jaw portion that adds an undercut to give some downward pressure instead of just side pressure but this is outside the scope of it's design slightly. Overall I am pleased with the purchase.

The Auto-Lock clamps are working very well in my applications table saw sled and drill press. It does take a little time to get the tension / clamping pressure adjusted to the desired pressure needed.
The Auto-Lock T-Track clamps with extension is working great with my tablesaw sled.

I made a work table with the T Slot bars to make a table top. I used the clamps to assemble the unit. The whole unit worked great. I will have many uses for the clamps with future woodworking projects. Buy them, you'll like em.

Can you extend the t-bolt that slide in the track that is used with a longer one?... as some have asked since my t-track is 3/4" below my waste board on cnc table.
skcnc on Nov 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have done this on my CNC able, as my spoil-board is above the 'T' track. There are replacement bolts available on Rockler.
Are there instructions for these clamps. I am not sure that I am using them correctly. Example: do you take the screws out or leave them in? I need pictures!! Also, anybody have trouble with the rubber pads on the bottom coming off?
Barry R on Jan 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I Haven't really used mine yet so I can't really address the rubber pads issue but the screws can be moved to allow 90 or 45 degree settings or they can be removed to allow any other angle. When the screws are used they set in the T-Track and lock the angle. I hope this helps.
Can it be modified to clamp higher up (e.g., a workpiece sitting on a spoilboard)?
Oertl on Oct 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If the mounting brackets were still available yes but as they are you'd have to fashion your own brackets and mount them to a board at the height you need. You could get a length of the t track and make brackets using it. It's really crazy they no longer offer the brackets!
can these clamps be used with another method than t track ?
Darren P on Oct 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Not easily. The design allows the bottom of the clamp to be held in place on a table by locking into a T-track in the table. It's design would make it extremely difficult for it to lock in place in anything that does not function as a T-track.. The clamp must be held firmly in place on a table for it to function properly. Obviously, there would need to also be a similar clamp or solid support on the other side of the work piece.
The t-track clamp has guide screws for inserting it at 90 and 45 deg angle to the t-track. Will it work to remove the screws and use it parallell to the track? I'm concerned that the clamping force will make it slide along the track if used this way.
Kjell H on Sep 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have had it slide a bit. Best if they are used at right angles to the track. I have removed the guide screws from my clamps. I do use them in line, but really tighten them down.
Is the clamp face removable? I was wondering if I could replace it with custom 3D-printed versions for odd situations.
Paul R. B on Mar 31, 2018
The T-Track clamp looks good. Does it fit in the Kreg router table T-track? I notice you also sell some Kreg products.
Thomas on Apr 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No problem. It fits in the most t track systems. Its realy good to work with this clamp.Sorry but my english isnt really good. You also can use it with incra systems.Regards
Will they fit in an incra T track?
Edward R on Sep 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have replaced the blue dial knob with a 3D printed knob that accepts a 1/4" hex bolt. With that modification it fits an Incra, Kreg and a few other non-branded tracks perfectly. I'm surprised Rockler haven't released a 1/4" knob as an accessory. Alternatively use an appropriate sized circle cutter and recess a 1/4" hex nut in it (which is what I did before purchasing a 3D printer).
Does the Rockler Auto-Lock T-Track Clamp fit on a Kreg T-Track? I am mainly interested in using it on my Kreg Router Table. This clamp looks to be very good and would solve many clamping and work-holding challenges I frequently encounter.
Thomas on Apr 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I bought these for use on my Shark CNC, but I also have the Kreg Router Table. The Kreg T-Track is designed for 1/4" T-Bolt and these clamps have a 5/16" T-Bolt. As they come, they do not work... but Rockler may have an alternate 1/4" T-Bolt you could interchange it with
Will this clamp work in a Kreg Klamp Trak?
builtbybuck on Mar 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It won't work as shipped but if you replace the t-bolt with a slightly longer one and removed the screws on the bottom I believe it will work for you.
I clamp a lot of things sideways on my traditional workbench. Can anybody see a convenient way to adapt these clamps for use in bench dog holes?
Dickdickson on Jul 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These same clamps are also available in a version that works in bench dog holes. They're available from Rockler, but sold under the Armor Tool brand (and are red instead of blue). In fact, these t-track clamps are actually Amror Tool clamps re-branded for Rockler. Not sure why the bench dog hole versions didn't get the same treatment.
Could I add this item to my pocket hole jig for faster set up?
BR549 on Sep 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can. I used a Three-quarter inch plywood board mounted my left over piece of T-track into it. I cut a dado into the plywood to mount the track. Then I use my quick release clamp for pocket hole jig.
Some of the pictures in the Rockler Auto-Lock T-Track Clamp ad show a very narrow, triangular, Rockler blue, button type head (on the end of the clamping rod) and others show a black (approx. 2" wide) bar on the end of the clamping rod. Which style comes with the clamp and do I have to purchase the other separately or are both included?
Frank T on Aug 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The way the clamp works is that you slide the clamp along the t-track to position it within the working range (about 3 3/4") of the clamping rod from the work piece with the black end facing the work piece to apply the pressure. The small blue end is designed so you can hook your finger in it to push or pull the rod forward or back so that the black pressure pad is against your work piece. You then push down on the top lever to tighten the unit against the work piece.
When the bumper wears out, is there a replacement?
tim S on Feb 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have had mine for years the pads are made of a hard plastic I use them all the time and they show no signs of wear if used properly I don't see how they could wear out
Will the Auto-Lock T-Track Clamp work with a Laguna Swift router table? The T-track does accept a 5/16-18 t-bolt but sits about 7/16 below the table top.
Harold G on Jul 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have an older Laguna Swift CNC. I made a spoilboard and cut slots and T-Track to accommodate these clamps. I absolutely love them. I believe if you mounted on the supplied T-slots on your table you would have too much play. Also, you would need to get longer T-slot bolts to grab underside of T-slot.Doable but I think a spoilboard is a better option because you make slots in the X direction. Hope this helps.
The bracket has four holes in it. What is the spacing of those holes? I would like to use this and the Rockler Auto-Lock T-Track Clamp in a peg board material hold down solution.

Frank on Jan 1, 2018
What is the distance of the jaw from the center of the t track? Put another way, if I am planning a jig to clamp 20" panel and a 23" panel, how far does the t track need to be away from the edge of the 23" panel to allow for the boards to fit between the stop and the open clamp?
