You won't find a better cheese slicer kit than Rockler's. Our rugged yet beautiful stainless steel hardware—available in your choice of three finishes—is superior to competing hardware on the market, many of which include plastic parts. Not only are all three options made from corrosion-fighting stainless steel, each also includes three replacement stainless steel cutting wires that will keep them cutting true for countless tasty slices. It's a beautiful, useful gift idea, since you get to pick the board material and customize it as you see fit for the occasion and the recipient. Construction is easy! To make, just cut your board to size, drill a hole in the end and make a kerf in the face. All the locations are outlined in detail in the included instructions.

• All stainless steel construction helps prevent the absorption of odors and stains
• Arm installs easily into 1/4'' diameter by 3-3⁄4'' deep hole in end of board
• Cutting wire lowers into groove made with saw blade
• Two extra cutting wires included with each kit, in additional to the installed wire. Additional cutting wires available separately (#63596), allowing for an indefinite lifespan!

Note: Not recommended for use with very hard cheeses. For harder cheeses, we suggest either the Rockler Cheese Plane Turning Kit (#59844, sold separately) or the Rockler Four-Piece Cheese Knife Turning Kit (#52836, sold separately).
