Rockler Glue Caddy

Stores the most common sizes of glue bottles, brushes and applicators—hook it onto our Lock-Align Wall Brackets for easy access!

Item #
56823
Rating:
100% of 100

In the midst of a complicated assembly, your glue and glue applicators are two things you need within easy reach. The Rockler Glue Caddy makes that possible by keeping it all in one neatly organized tote that's easy to move from place to place with one hand, leaving your other hand free to hold parts. The caddy accepts up to four glue bottles in the most common sizes up to 16 ounces, and even accepts the popular Glu-Bot. The middle tray can store a bottle tip-down (with a plug in place, of course), so the air pocket rises to the top and the glue is ready to pour when you pick up the bottle. Brushes and trays fit into slots along the sides.

Features:

  • Securely holds up to four glue bottles in sizes up to 16 oz.
  • Made of durable ABS—wood glue flakes off easily when dried
  • Rubber feet on bottom prevent slippage
  • Smaller compartments offer storage for narrow tools like the Rockler Silicone Glue Brush (#45624, sold separately)
  • Side compartment fits spreader and tray from Rockler 3-Piece Silicone Glue Application Kit (#43662, sold separately) or a small glue bottle
  • Rear lip hooks securely onto Lock-Align Wall Brackets (#52058, sold separately) for hanging storage

Just like the picture.
Gluing is a messy job. I use the caddy "just like the picture" and the mess is very small. I do a lot of repairs on the grandkids things and this keeps the implements in one place on my work table

As a model airplane builder among other things I have numerous kinds of glue and small tools all over the workbench. I’ve been looking for a good solution. There are times when I need the whole length of the workbench, so these will be mounted on my wall.

Is there any way to mount this to the side of something, or a wall, without using the Lock-Align Wall Bracket?
Melanie W on Sep 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You could drill through it and secure it to the wall. It's pretty sturdy. The nicest thing about it though is the ability to take all of your glue-up stuff to the area where you're going to do the gluing and keep it sorted. So, if you have a hand plane, you can make a French cleat from some 1/4 inch ply. Plane down one edge to fit in the hook in the back like the lock-align does.
