Rockler Rock-Steady Extendable XL Bench Kit

This selection of our popular Rock-Steady heavy-duty stand components will let you construct a sturdy steel framework for a workbench measuring 20''W (plus even more width with the tip-up extension you make) x 44''L x 32''H, not counting the height of the included casters, plus a benchtop you build yourself. A pair of center supports divides up the length of the bench where you wish for installing cabinet doors or banks of shelves and drawers. Eight pairs of drawer/shelf brackets will make that even easier, and the brackets are pre-drilled for drawer slide hardware (sold separately). Two steel pegboard side panels enclose the ends of the bench while adding lots of storage space for hanging tools or accessories. For even more helpful worktop real estate, you also get a Folding Top Extension Kit, which includes a pair of hinge brackets and telescoping legs to create an additional length of tip-up benchtop. Rockler Rock-Steady Extendable XL Bench Kit Details:

• Legs are heavy-duty 10-gauge steel; stretchers are 14-gauge steel—all have a durable powder-coat finish
• Legs have holes spaced 32mm apart for attaching accessories, shelves and panels
• Swiveling, locking casters measure 3-1/2'' tall; load rating is 110 lbs. per caster
• Drawer/Shelf Brackets are pre-drilled for most ball-bearing and epoxy drawer slides (sold separately)
• Pegboard panels are 1/16''-thick solid-steel with 1/4'' holes spaced 1'' on-center to securely hold pegboard accessories
• All required fastener hardware for assembling bench (screws, bolts, nylon lock nuts, washers) is included
• Mount cabinet doors to your bench with our Hinge Brackets (#50676, sold separately)
• Make your own benchtop and a top for the tip-up extension, or choose from our wide selection of pre-made wooden tops

• Expands the work surface of your workbench—just bolt to the stand or benchtop for a fold-down worktop extension
• High-strength, adjustable legs fold out to provide sturdy support for heavy items, and adjust from 22-5/8'' to 37-5/8'' in 1'' increments
• Legs lock in both open and closed positions for stability in use and in storage
• Heavy-duty hinge assemblies provide rock-solid support for the worktop in the open position, then allow top to fold against the stand when not in use
• Includes two hinge assemblies, two folding steel legs and mounting hardware
• 1/2'' leveling feet allow fine-tuning of height
• Heavy-duty steel construction; benchtop not included
