Dust panel is a must.
Works like a charm. Easy to change over to smaller vacuum, if needed.

Works well - installation on already assembled saw needs care
This works well when installed on the SawStop Contractor Table Saw. If you’re installing this when you are assembling your saw for the first time, no problem. But if you are installing it on an assembled saw, especially one that has extra weight from the cast-iron extension wings then be careful to either a) support the saw so that the stand doesn’t have the saw’s weight on it while installing the Dust Collection Panel b) use a bar clamp or something like that to keep the legs of the stand from spreading when you remove the bottom support to install the Dust Collection Panel. Otherwise, the legs of the stand will spread and make the DCP not fit (and maybe even bend the stand!)

Easy installation and versatility makes this a good option for this saw.
I would highly recommend this if you want to keep the sawdust cleanup to a minimum.

DOSE THIS COME WITH CONECTION HOSE AND CLAMPS?
George on May 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: George: Yes, it does come with an internal connection hose and clamps for you to attach to the 4" port under the saw body and to the inside back of the Dust Collection Panel. For the outside of the panel you would use your own hosing and clamps going to your dust collector.
What connects this plate to the saw's dust port on the underside?
Bren on Nov 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You need a piece of clear plastic dust collection hose about 2 feet long with screw clamps on either end. I thought it came with the plate accessory kit but possibly with dust collection arm kit. I bought the dust arm kit with the saw but was not told at that time that I needed the plate kit also. Finally got it straightened out after some hassle
Getting ready to install delta dust collection, should I use PVC throughout shop and when should I reduce from 4 to 2.5?
