Get one you won't regret it
This is the answer to being able to repeat cuts. If you've ever damaged a part in assembly you can cut a perfect replacement. Need to remove .032 from a piece, touch the "inc" button and move the fence, perfect. Why I got mine, it's the best answer to old tired eyes.

Looks like it will work okay
It's okay just got it installed on my Grizzly table saw. Haven't really had a chance to use it yet. Does seem a little hard to get the absolute number that I want. Will have to work with some more.

Woodworking Experience:
Well Engineered DRO
This is my 2nd Wixey table saw DRO purchase. I installed my 1st DRO on my Delta cabinet saw with Delta Unifence. The only change I made was to drill and tap the fence rail for the mounting brackets and used machine screws for a more secure installation. If you have the tools and ability, do it. To calibrate the DRO- cut a block ~ 5". Measure as accurately as possible. I used a 6" dial caliper. Set the Wixey DRO to your measurement. Done. My 2nd Wixey DRO will be used on a miter saw station I am constructing. I expect to modify or make mounting brackets as needed. The Wixey readout will attach to a fence stop for accurate repetitive cuts. More to come.

Would this work on a Rigid table saw?
A shopper on Aug 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have a Ridgid R4512 table saw and the installation of the Wixey digital readout was a breeze. No holes needed to be drilled and it works great. There are a few tricks, however, that make the job easier. For details, post specific request for this saw and I will provide details.
Will this fit Dewalt 10" bench top table saw?
Tim F on Jan 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If your saw has the rack and pinion fence, I do not believe it would work.
Will this work on a 10" Craftsman contractor saw ?
Ted on May 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If the Craftsman has a place to mount the rail for Wixey readout it should work. It does come with brackets for the round or the box type front rail. I really do like the Saw fence Readout. Especially the fact that after it has gone to sleep and you turn it back on it will remember your last setting. Only problem I have found is sometimes when you move the fence the magnet does not hold and you have to slide back to reattach. Still love it.
Will this fit on a Shopsmith pro table and on the fence that set on tubes on the front and back of the table?
David F on May 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: no, this will not be compatible with that style of mounting.
Does the Wixey Digital Readout work on a SawStop fence?
Brad B on May 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The only real challenge I had with installation was the metal strap attachment to the fence. The SawStop fence looks very much like my Craftsman fence. I had to do some bending and drilling on the fence to get the metal strap in place. But once done, the Wixey does great. I got the saw bade height, saw blade angle and fence digital readouts. First time I used them I got much better 45 degree corners for my picture frames.
Will this work on a Paralock fence?
Rod L on Sep 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It works very well on my Delta Unifence. Just mount the included extrusion parallel to where your fence locks down and mount the adjustable strap to your fence which attaches to the readout by a magnet which is how you can take the fence on and off very easy and still keep the zero point anywhere along the fence travel. You may have to bend the strap to some configuration that will hold the readout. Took me about two hours to mount. The readout reads out to less than .015 (1/64"). Go to Wixey's web site and read through the online manual for mounting and use.
It the repeatability really as good as its claimed ? I have another unit that I stopped using due to dust giving the reader issues that gave false readings as a result.
Laurie K on Sep 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I run a fairly busy shop and have been quite pleased with the performance and reliability. We've had this unit for several months. Dust will be an issue with any electronic device. We clean the shop every afternoon and regularly clean the track.
Will this work with a modified aluminum extrusion rail and fence system, it's for a old craftsman?
Brian F on Sep 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Should not be a problem since the Wixley system runs on its own aluminum rail that you have to attach to whatever your fence rides on. As long as you can drill holes in your existing rain (modified or stock) and mount the Wixley rail and you are able to mount the steel contact for the magnet to the fence so that it reaches the Wixley rail and readout, it should not be a problem. I've used one an a Craftsman contractors saw and a Steel City cabinet saw. Each required modifications beyond the Wixley instructions, but they were intuitive, easy enough to do, and well worth the effort.
Will this work on a bosch table saw ?
Charles on May 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This tool should work with ANY table saw, you just might need to be creative with the brackets you get with it, or make your own.
I did not use mine on a table saw, I adapted it to measure travel of a hydraulic ram. It is very easy to set up and "zero". It continues to work flawlessly +/- .005". I am happy with this product, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a very low cost digital readout with fair accuracy. I would not try to use it for fine "machining" work.
I hope this helps you make your decision.

Is this easy to fix to a Laguna Fusion Table Saw?
Hacker on Sep 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Looking at your saw online there's no reason for it to be a problem to mount. It requires a bit of mechanical understanding and some basic tools, drill and bits etc. It's well worth the effort.
Will this work on a Grizzly G1022Z table saw?
Gerald M on Feb 5, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I cant say for sure if it will fit on your Grizzly, but it is designed to fit many makes and models. I would feel comfortable purchasing it even if I had to modify the included brackets. The Wixey website also shows the installation on various models sent in by users. Good luck.
Is it very hard to remove the fence and put back on?
Gary W on May 10, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I had my fence on for a few months and had an ocassionon that I had to remove it. I was a bit worried that it had been a while since I installed it. Actually it was a piece of cake to remove because all of the brackets were on the saw and it was just a matter of removeing four (?) bolts. Then replacing the fence was just as easy.
Will the Wixey WR700 Digital Fence Readout work with a Ridgid R4512 Table Saw?
Mike on Jan 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The ridgid saw appears to have a fence very similar to the delta fence I retrofitted to my old craftsman saw. The wixey read out is pretty adaptable. I don't see why it wouldn't work for your application. Have fun!...The readout works very well
How easy is it to take the fence off once this is installed? Do you have to slide it to one end or the other?
Jbird on Jun 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you look at the picture, on the left side under the fence you will see a metal angled piece and next to that yuou see a small round piece which is a magent that is attached to the readout. To take the fence off just lift straight up because the magent attaches the readout to the fence by way of the metal angle. The same is true when the fence is put back on, Jjust put the fence on and slide the readout up to the metal angle and then double check the fence to blade zero point. Very easy to install and very accurate and repeatable. Hope that helps.
If I add tracks from a second set to it, will it measure to 120" or does it stops at 60" as mentioned in the description? thx
Ovi D on Feb 27, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Ovi D.- Last year I added a Wixey DRO to a custom made miter station. Because of the way I have it calibrated the DRO will read 75.XX" before it reaches the end of the fence. So I suspect the DRO will read at least to 99.99. I cant say if it will go past that. I suggest you contact Wixey . The Wixey website has an email address for technical questions but this forum wont allow me to post it. Good Luck
Will this fit the craftsman align a rip fence?
Matt on Apr 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You need a place to mount the rail for the Wixey readout to move on. From what I can tell, you should be able mount the rail under the fence where it doesn't interfere with the sliding of the Craftsman fence. Looks like you could add a piece of material to the bottom of the Craftsman fence rail to attach the Wixey rail to and it would work. With a little ingenuity it will work. I really like mine and use it all the time for repeated cuts.
Will this work for a ryobi bt3000 fence? I put the fence and rails from the bt3000 on my old delta 34-695 10" table saw?
Duncan F on Sep 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Please look at the website. If I remember correctly the rail attached to your saw via the standard ore drilled holes on the side of the table. I don't think you will have any problem
will this fit a grizzly G0690 table saw?
John F on Jun 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, provided you can space the DRO and sensor bars far enough away from the tube that the fence rides on so that there is no interference with the outriggers of that particular fence.
Will this work with a Grizzly G1023SLondon table saw?
Larry on Apr 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The instrructions can be downloaded from product description on Rockler Item #: 39323. I have mine mounted on a Delta Unisaw. I can't see why it would not work on the Grizzly G1023SLondon table saw. Hope this helps.
Will this work on a Grizzly G0715P with the stock fence?
Maxwell A on Apr 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Don't know. Have you checked the WIXEY web page? Lots of good info there. Contact them direct if you don't see you see your fence there. They were very helpful when I contacted them because my fence wasn't shown. The digital tools from WIXEY are great. Use them every time I'm making picture frames.
Will the Wixey Saw Fince Digital Readout work on a ShopSmith 520 mark V?
David F on Sep 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No. On a Shopsmith, the table does not always end up in the same place so you would have to recalibrate it with every time you moved the table. Also, I don't believe you are going to be able to mount it.
I have the Bosch 4100 contractor table saw. I read the answers for “will this fit my Bosch table saw” and found the answers were made by people who do not own a Bosch table saw and couldn’t answer the question!! Are there any Bosch 4100 owners out there that can answer the question? Does the Wixey Saw fence digital readout work on my Bosch 4100 contractor’s table saw?!
John J on Mar 16, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I don't currently own the Bosch 4100 but I did before I upgraded to my current table saw. The short answer, is no, this won't work for the 4100. You can certainly mount this readout to the 4100 fence rail, though you might have to drill some mounting holes. The main problem though, us that it's only going to work for the 13" rip capacity when the right-side table extension is closed up. There's no way to mount the DRO magnetic strip so it can self-extend and then retract as you extend the table for rip cuts greater than 13" wide.
The scale has come lose from the fence rail. What do I use to tack it back down?
John O on Nov 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi John. I had a similar situation. I caught the edge of the fence rail on my pants. It pulled the scale off about an inch back. I used a small amount of super glue to reattach it left it sit about 3 hours. Then checked the calibration. That was about a year and a half ago. Still holding. Hope this helps
Anyone know what fence the Wixey is mounted to in this photo?
David R on Jun 26, 2017

Will this readout work with a ShopSmith 520 Mark V Fince?
David F on Sep 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You can check their web site for a list of comparable fences. But even if it is you may need to make your own mounting brackets as I did for my Shopfox fence. Their mounting system is limited!
