When Ernie Conover was tasked with creating some extensions for his wife's loom, he needed to create 1-1/2"-thick pieces of plywood.
He starts with 3/4" pieces of Baltic birch and glues them together with Titebond III Wood Glue to create one solid piece of wood. See his process as well as the loom in action in this video.
